My father inspired my love of beautiful photographs. He gave me a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye camera when I was seven years old and my first pictures were of the quarter horse races at Ruidoso Downs. I've loved shooting beautiful and interesting people, objects and events ever since.

While at law school in Austin I was privileged to study black and white film photography under Garry Winogrand, a famous New York City street photographer. For nine months I sat in a small room with a few other students as he projected and commented on hundreds of images taken by the best photographers in history. My first editorial feature and picture was published in the University of Texas Daily Texan.

It is my passion to document the beauty and soul of my clients through portraits, commercial, editorial and event photographs. I am a member of Professional Photographers of America, the Texas Professional Photographers Association, and a multiyear graduate of the Texas School of Professional Photography.
